Polaroids:

In the spring of 2011, Joseph Segaran acquired a Polaroid Land Camera SX-70. This ingeniously designed folding instant camera was made in 1972 and is an absolute gem. The obvious wonder lies in watching the image develop in front of your very eyes in a matter of seconds. For Joseph, though, the fading colours, dream-like quality and nostalgic feel of the images are what make the Polaroid SX-70 such a wonderful camera.

Most of the images that Joseph has taken are with the, now discontinued, TZ Artistic films. The black and white images are taken with the new films made by the Impossible Project. There are also some photographs taken with the Polaroid 600.

Joseph has a little bit of an obsession with Polaroid cameras, so is always interested if anybody has an old Polaroid camera lying around as he collects them.
